Last Saturday, Bill Green's Maine did a great piece on her, highlighting her discipline, work ethic and talent in her sport of luge. She has worked so long and hard for this moment.
Julia was also a successful athlete and academic student for Cony High School and has proudly represented Augusta all over the world for many years.
I am asking if you would kindly e-mail Julia (juliaclukey@hotmail.com) with some positive thoughts to encourage her toward her quest to make the Olympics. It would mean a lot to have support from Augusta, even if you don't know her very well.
Also check out her Web site (www.clukeyluge.org). It's pretty cool!
