The referendum voting on Nov. 3 resulted in victories for some and not for others. Many people worked tirelessly for their beliefs during the days leading up to Nov. 3. One thing we should all be thankful for, though, is the freedom we have to voice our opinions and to vote.

With Veterans Day coming, I hope we all take a few moments that day to consider all our veterans, from the Revolutionary War to present day who have given, and continue to give, so much for our freedom.

As a country we have many problems right now and there are countries that do not like us. We are still, however, the greatest country in the world and it is because of our people. God bless us all.
