I couldn't agree more with Joseph Reisert's column Oct. 30.

I believe the referendum process is being unconsciously abused and has been for years. I for one refuse to sign any referendum petition at my polling place, as I believe they shouldn't be allowed to collect signatures on Election Day.

It makes it too easy to continue the abuse of the system that I see going on. How many times must we vote on some of these issues? The process as is, is truly government by the minority.
