I have effectively decided how I want to vote on each of the seven referendum items well before the Nov. 3 election. I decided in 2008, 2006, 2004, et seq. when I decided who I would support for state House and Senate to represent me.

Government by petition is totally different from petitioning the government for redress of grievances.

Government by petition has not been a constructive form of government since the flowering of the Bronze Age.

Representation may not be the best method of government but, as Churchill noted, it is the best method yet tried.

The best government by representation is achieved when everyone is active in their local political party organization.
