It has come to my attention that our great representatives in the U.S. House of Representatives have just passed the ill-fated "cap and trade" bill.

I believe that you as our news media should be covering this development. You should have articles on the front page, because this bill is an outrage! Please do some research into this bill and what it will do for the economy and the citizens of this state. I can tell you now that no good will come of it. It is a tax of enormous proportions.

Please, people ask how the newspapers can survive? I give you the answer. Print the articles that no mainstream news media will. Print the articles that should get people angry! Inform us of how far we have come as Americans, or how far we have strayed from where we should be. Tell of the corruption at the state and federal levels. Report on this story of cap and trade. Tell us how it will devastate our nation and the state of Maine!

While it may make you unpopular to an extent by liberal media and liberals in general, they are not the ones that will shape what this country will be.
