Our highly trained staff offers eight preschool classes for children who are developing typically and their peers with disabling conditions, (including three classrooms specially designed for the needs of children with autism spectrum disorders) and the Center was an early leader in the creation of inclusive classrooms, dating back as far as 1994.
Recently, we expanded our services to include childcare and are growing from one childcare room to three. In addition, we offer case management, therapies for young children and parent support. We also offer respite and therapeutic recreation services throughout central Maine.
We believe our relatively small size, expert staff, broad array of services, location, modern facility and accessible playground all contribute to the overwhelmingly positive experience of the parents of children who come to the Center.
Please don't sell us short. We've been quietly developing and providing quality services for young children and their caregivers throughout our 42 years and look forward to continuing our work with our local partners and communities to meet our children's needs.
