North American Union signs U.S. death warrant
Kennebec Journal & Morning Sentinel 05/04/2008

I am shocked and saddened to learn that President Bush signed the "Security and Prosperity Partnership," which will, by 2010, combine the United States, Canada and Mexico into a socialist new nation called North American Union.

This is clearly an unconstitutional act, a betrayal of his oath of office and signs the death warrant of the sovereign United States and our precious Constitution.

As Lou Dobbs said on CNN: "The North American Union is an absolute contravention of our law, of our constitution, every national value. ... If not stopped, the plan for a North American Union will supplant the former independent states of Canada, Mexico and the United States. And that is not conjecture. The North American Union is official U.S. Policy."

I also was shocked to learn that thousands of people from Texas to Minnesota will soon lose their homes through government abuse of the power of "eminent domain" to make way for a 1,600-mile-long "NAFTA Superhighway" which will fuel this "Union" with foreign goods and labor. Texas has already ordered a temporary halt to construction there.

This is grounds for President Bush's immediate impeachment on grounds of treason. It is high time to get us out of the United Nations before our Constitution is annulled, our middle class is destroyed, and America is made into a third-world nation, as is already happening. It's also time to urge Maine's Legislature to impeach Bush as Vermont's already has. Hooray for Vermont!
