Maybe all of you "air huggers" would rather stand along the Appalachian Trail and look out over the tall stacks of coal-fired power plants "belching" a beautiful dark cloud into the sky or, maybe the "ominous glow" of a shiny new nuclear power plant is more to your liking. I am also quite sure that you are probably also "dead against" oil imported from the Middle East or, an LNG terminal here in Maine.
Get real folks, "you know who you are." Let's go ahead and install 30 wind turbines on Black Nubble Mountain, what the heck, let's put 100 of them up there. Let's just "Git-Er-Done" and the sooner the better.
I have seen many "large scale" wind mill farms out west. They were awe-inspiring. Huge slow spinning wind mills by the hundreds lined up along ridges, an absolutely awesome sight.
So, take the ride to Shelbourne, Ontario, that David Offer did or, walk if you are also "anti-automobile" and see for yourself just how horrible and horrendous wind turbines really are.
Just get off your "high" horse and get with the program or, maybe the fact is that you are "cool" with global warming.
Go and live in a cave and burn "whale blubber." Oops, not that too.
Maybe now you get my point, enough said.
