Anti-evolution activists should decline vaccines

Avian flu has passed from poultry to humans in a few cases, with deadly results. Experts fear the virus will mutate -- evolve -- to a form that can pass from person to person, with deadly results for millions instead of dozens.

There is some hope a vaccine can be produced, but it could be in short supply. If so, I urge the anti-evolution, hard-core evangelical crowd to stick to their guns and refuse the vaccine. After all, if mutation -- evolution -- cannot occur, then by their logic, the modified virus cannot exist, and they will have no need for a vaccine. In fact, the whole state of Kansas probably won't require more than a hundred doses. That will leave more vaccine for us pig-headed scientific types, thank you very much.
