'Sin no more,' God told us, including homosexuality

1. We do not need this special law. It's already here. If you think your boss, landlord, etc. has done you wrong, then report it and be ready to go to court. 2. Twice the people of Maine voted this down, so why go there again? What part of "no" don't you all understand? 3. My concern is that this could all lead to approval for same-sex marriage. This I am against. Marriage is between one man and one woman. I believe that God loves us all but hates the sin. The Bible clearly outlines this; and Jesus, who died for our sins, told us that once we were forgiven, we should go and sin no more. The Bible states (Genesis 3:6) that lust of the flesh is like when Eve, in the garden, looked at fruit growing on the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Even though God had warned that eating the fruit would result in spiritual destruction, Eve insisted on fulfilling the desire of the flesh and ate the apple. Since then, Satan has continued to set before us the illusionary fruit of satisfaction in homosexuality, abortion, drugs, divorce, etc., and yes, even those slot machines at the racetracks, which can make us poor. There is a God who is calling you to come out. Will you? Richard West Randolph major063@aol.com |
