You take your plastic bottles, you know, and you bring them to the grocery store and give 'em back and they send 'em somewhere and they come back as frisbees.
Yah.
And like, you know those old-fashioned things, um, called newspapers? That your old man reads? It's awesome what they do with them. They chop 'em up and turn them into, uh, what is it? Wait a sec, lemme check here. Right. Countertops. They can turn 'em into countertops. Far freakin' out.
And when you're snowboarding, that fleece you're wearing? The bright orange thing with cool logos all over it? They used to wear something called wool in the old days. It came from sheep. But you know, vegans like me don't wanna wear something that comes from animals without their permission. It's not respectful. But fleece? It's from soda bottles, too. Way cool.
So Maine's not recycling as much as it should. Dudes, this can't be. Reduce, reuse, recycle. That's what my old lady says. Check it out: www.mainerecycles.com. Pretty good advice. Peace out, cub scouts.
