READFIELD -- Amanda Laporte scored a goal and added an assist to lead Maranacook Community High School to a 3-1 win over Leavitt Area High School in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B field hockey game Saturday.
Meghan Surette and Alaechia Lamourex each scored a goal for the winners while Hannah Criss contributed two assists and Nicole Castonguay one. Morgan Erskine scored for the Hornets assisted by emily Murphy.
Taylor Leells made eight saves in goal for Leavitt (2-2) while Megan Dood recorded six for Maranacook (3-0).
Cony 5, Lewiston 0: Chelsea Begin scored two goals and two assists to lead the Rams to the KVAC Class A win in Augusta.
Nicole Rugan also had two goals while Alyssa Brochu had one. Asia Le made three saves for Cony (3-1-0). Emily Craig stopped 20 shots for Lewiston (0-4-0).
Hampden 2, Erskine 1: Mindy Grover and Dani Lumino each scored as the Broncos jumped out to a 2-0 lead and never looked back earning the KVAC Class B win in Hampden.
Mel Parker didn't have to make a save in net for the Broncos (1-3-0). Kaci Hudson scored for Erskine (0-4-0). Tabitha Plourde made eight saves.
Skowhegan 2, Oxford Hill 0: Mallory Hancock scored two goals to lead the Indians in South Paris.
Nicole Sevey, Sarah Finnimore and Mikaela Michonski each had assists for Skowhegan (4-0), which outshot the Vikings 31-3.
Messalonskee 1, Edward Little 0, OT: Holly Oliver scored with 5:47 remaining in overtime to lift the Eagles to the win in Oakland.
Abby Stacey assisted on the play. Mickee McCafferty made one save for Messalonskee (3-1-0). Kayla Cummings made 28 saves for Edward Little (1-3-0).
Lawrence 2, Mt. Blue 1: Jessica Bellefleur and Kayla Robinson each had a goal and an assist as the Bulldogs earned their first win of the season in KVAC Class A play in Farmington.
Emily Lambert made eight saves on 12 shots for Lawrence (1-3-0). Kaitlyn Bullen scored an unassisted goal for Mt. Blue (1-2-0). Amanda Hall stopped 12 of 17 shots.
Waterville 6, MCI 4: Alexis Russo had three goals and an assist to lead the host Purple Panthers to the KVAC Class B win.
Renee Roberts added two goals and an assist while Jenna Gagnon had a goal and two assists. Grace Gould made 11 saves for Waterville (2-1-0).
Kassie Brunette scored twice for MCI (0-3-0). Kayla Michaud made 13 saves.
