SOUTH CHINA -- Christine Parrilli and Michelle Greene each scored two goals as Winslow High School defeated Erskine Academy 7-0 in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference field hockey action Monday.

Also scoring for Winslow (1-0-0) were Morgan Stuart, Katie Irwin and Sara Pullen. Emma Walters made seven saves for the shutout.

Barbara Outten had eight saves for Erskine (0-1-0).

Georges Valley 3, Hall-Dale 0: Ketch Cowan scored two goals to lead the Buccaneers to the MVC win in Farmingdale. Chris Wilgus added a goal and an assist for Georges Valley (1-0-0). Alec Young made nine saves. Tyler Mannix stopped 15 shots for Hall-Dale (0-1-0).
