WAYNE -- The earthly remains of Ricky Gibson will be laid to rest at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, at Pine Grove Cemetery, on the corner of Notch Road and French Road, in Dover-Foxcroft. All are welcome.

Directions are as follows: Take I-95 North from Augusta to Newport. From Newport, take Route 7 through Dexter and about halfway between Dexter and Dover-Foxcroft, turn right on Merrill Mills Road. Follow Merrill Mills Road to Brann's Mills Pond and keep right and look for the cemetery on the right.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations in Ricky's memory be made to the Ricky Gibson Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Maranacook Football Inc., 517 Sturtevant Hill Road, Readfield, ME 04355; or the Maine Children's Cancer Program, 100 Campus Drive, No. 107, Scarborough, ME 04074-8737.
