Leighsa I am not sure about Buxton, but I wanted to let you know that you are not the only person that has been treated that way and it is a lot more common than it is the exception. Keep asking questions and don't give up, ask a local priest or pastor and if they can't directly help they more than likely will know who to ask. You are not a bad person for needing help. report abuse

There is a place in Randolph that anyone can go to and get food. The lady that runs it does ask a $7.00 donation for canned goods and meats but it is worth it. She does have to buy these herself. She also has fresh produce and bread products. You can get more than one order of food, 2 orders is $14 donation. Its called Marcis Food Pantry and is privately run. It is located right on route 226. Its open twice weekly. Wednesdays noon to 1:00 and Sundays noon to 2:30. Hope this helps someone. No personal information is required other than the basic NAZ and number in your family. report abuse

where can you receive food assistance, as I wont go to the town, the women in the welfare office in Buxton belittled me to the point i left crying when i went to ask for help. ill go hungry before I go to her for helpreport abuse
