Kevin J. Collins, 49, and Marcia A. Collins, 52, were indicted most recently by a grand jury in Kennebec County.
An indictment is not a determination of guilt, but it is an indication that sufficient evidence is present to proceed with formal charges and a trial in superior court.
Kevin Collins is charged with seven counts of burglary, five counts of theft by unauthorized taking and one count each of receiving stolen property, criminal mischief and conspiracy to commit burglary. He remains in the Kennebec County jail.
Marcia Collins is charged with six counts of burglary, four counts of theft by unauthorized taking and one count each of receiving stolen property, criminal mischief and conspiracy to commit burglary.
She was in the Kennebec County jail and then was transferred to the Somerset County jail. The offenses took place Sept. 1, 2008, to April 2, 2009, in Augusta, Clinton, Monmouth, Oakland and Waterville.
