China expandingrecycling building
CHINA -- Planning Board members have one application on their agenda Tuesday: preliminary information from engineer Boyd Snowden on the town's plans to build a new equipment storage building and an addition to the recycling building at the transfer station on Alder Park Road.
Town Manager Daniel L'Heureux said neither project is necessarily imminent. However, he said, Snowden has done the phosphorus runoff calculations required by both state environmental regulators and town ordinances for the buildings, and L'Heureux hopes to save engineering and application fees by getting everything approved at once.
Planning Board members are also scheduled to talk about goals and upcoming projects and issues.
The board meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Town Office.
