Or office equipment and furniture.
Or televisions.
Or, even a baby grand piano.
All of it used, surplus equipment now owned by the city and School Department.
The city and schools will sell numerous surplus items in a yard sale at the former Hodgkins Middle School building Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The yard sale will be followed by an auction, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
"It's quite an accumulation of material," City Manager William Bridgeo said of the surplus items. "Whatever doesn't sell in the yard sale, goes in the auction."
The items range from the mundane -- tables, desks, filing cabinets, and shelving, to more unusual items.
Those include: A snowmobile; climbing ropes; weight benches; kiln equipment; shop equipment including lathes and saws; two pianos; a ski exercise machine; a science lab sink; televisions; tuba storage trunks and a massage table.
Bridgeo said the city has similar sales every few years, to get rid of unused items and generate some revenue for the city.
Police Chief Wayne McCamish will serve as auctioneer for the surplus auction.
The city, Bridgeo said, disposed of surplus vehicles earlier this fall, at a state auction.
Like most yard sales, the city sale Saturday includes an exercise bike.
