WASHINGTON -- The town will host a rabies clinic Dec. 13 at the Washington Fire Department, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Paula Benner, a new resident, has volunteered to assist the town. All dogs must be on a leash; all cats in a carrier. There will be a $12 fee for each animal.

Registration also will be available for all dogs in Washington. Dogs six months or older must be registered by January 31, 2010. Spayed/neutered dogs are $6. Nonaltered dogs are $11.
