Ashley M. Lapointe, 25, of Chelsea, pleaded guilty to unlawful trafficking in heroin and was sentenced to two years in prison, concurrent with a two-year sentence for violating probation. She was also fined $400.
Assistant Attorney General William Savage told Justice Nancy Mills that Lapointe had acquired $100 worth of heroin March 25 in Gardiner for a person who was working as a confidential police informant.
In a separate case, Michael Journet, 29, of Sidney, pleaded guilty to unlawful trafficking in cocaine and was sentenced to five years in prison, with all but 18 months suspended and two years probation. The offense occurred Sept. 12 in Augusta. Journet also was fined $400.
And in another case, Richard W. McKechnie, 24, of Augusta, pleaded guilty to unlawful trafficking in cocaine and criminal forfeiture of a firearm, and was sentenced to four years in jail, all but 90 days suspended, two years' probation. $400 fine, $450 restitution.
The offenses occurred Oct. 31, 2007, in Augusta.
Other sentences included:
* Matthew R. Steeves, 21, of Gardiner, assault Sept. 10 in Clinton; three years in jail, all but nine months suspended, two years' probation, $300 fine.
* Daniel J. Allen, 23, of Brewer, terrorizing and harassment Sept. 2 in Augusta, 180-day suspended jail sentence, one year administrative release.
* Joshua A. Sevey, 26, of Waterville, forgery and theft by deception Aug. 16 in Waterville; 180 days in jail, all suspended, one year administrative release, $300 restitution.
* Jason J. Sperry, 26, of Winslow, operating under the influence Aug. 24 in Augusta, $500 fine, 90-day license suspension.
* Lyanne Lemeunier-Fitzgerald, of Belgrade 44, OUI Sept. 11 in Hallowell; 96-hour alternative sentence program, 90-day license suspension, $500 fine.
* Gregory R. Griatzky, 23, of Augusta, operating while license suspended or revoked Aug. 9 in Augusta; $500 fine.
* Mary B. O'Rourke, 64, of Nobleboro, OUI Jan. 29 in Winthrop, 10-day alternative sentence program, $600 fine, 18-month license and registration suspension.
* Bradford M. Clement, 53, of Readfield, burglary and theft between April 15 and June 2 in Randolph; two years in jail, all but 15 days suspended and two years' probation.
* Teresa M. Black, 51, of Hallowell, operating after habitual offender revocation Sept. 8 in Augusta; 30 days in jail, $500 fine.
