HALLOWELL -- Residents asked to share their vision for the community with the Comprehensive Plan Review Committee will have to wait until the sessions are rescheduled, in June.

Committee officials scheduled what they call "vision and mapping" sessions to gather the thoughts of Hallowell residents on the future of the community.

The meetings were postponed from May 14 and May 22 because not enough people are aware of the sessions, according to a news release.

New meeting dates will be set this week and postcards will be sent to every household in Hallowell about the new times and locations, according to the release.

While all commission meetings are open to the public, a special commission meeting to gather public input is tentatively planned for June 5.
