Positions on the School Board and Planning Board do not have enough candidates on the ballot for a choice, Jones said after candidates submitted nomination petitions.
Incumbent Selectwoman Carole Swan is being challenged by Linda Leotsakos for her seat on the Board of Selectmen, Jones said.
It is the only seat on the board up for election, she said.
Only School Board member Sherrill Hallett and Pam Wiswell filed nomination petitions for the two open seats on the School Board, the town clerk said. Both women will appear on the ballot without opposition.
But two positions on the Planning Board have no candidates on the ballot, Jones said.
"We're going from an appointed Plannng Board to an elected one -- and I still have a four-year term on the Planning Board open and a five-year alternate," she said.
Only one candidate, Tim Coitrone, submitted the necessary signatures to be placed on the ballot for the only five-year term on the Plannng Board, she said.
The staggered four-year term and the alternate's five-year position will have to be decided by write-in votes, Jones said.
Write-in candidates can run in any of the races.
Candidates for town office are required to submit signatures by a minimum of 25 registered town voters and a maximum of 100, she said.
The municipal election is 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 10 at the Town Office.
