Artists can reserve a table to offer art supplies of any kind or art materials can be donated directly to the association, which operates the Harlow Gallery at 160 Water St., said Executive Director Deborah Fahy. Association officials will sell any donated supplies during the rummage sale to benefit the gallery. Proceeds from the rummage sale will help gallery officials meet a $20,000 fundraising challenge from Brooks and Miriam Harlow, Fahy said.
"What artist doesn't have a pile of art supplies stashed away, things you no longer have a need for?" Fahy said. "We are offering you a chance to set up a table and sell them to fellow artists who will make good use of them. You make a donation at the end of the day, the amount is up to you."
Fahy asked that anyone interested in reserving a table for the sale contact gallery officials at 622-3813.
Sale hours set for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. April 12 and noon-2 p.m. April 13.
