The 11:15 a.m. event will be held in the Fireside Room at UMA's Student Center and will recognize the contributions of volunteer instructors for their past year's work.
The group also plans to recognize Chuck Acker, of Whitefield, a retired psychologist with the former Augusta Mental Health Institute.
A founder of the Senior College, Acker has held the position of chairman of organization's board of directors since 2002.
He will be succeeded by Jean Lamond, a former teacher from Waterville who has been a member of the Senior College and the board of directors for several years and previously headed the curriculum committee.
A luncheon buffet will follow the recognition program.
