READFIELD -- Maranacook Schools Superintendent Richard Abramson has started an online blog about Gov. John Baldacci's school consolidation proposal.

To access the blog, go to http://www.maranacook.org/ and click on the link titled Superintendent Abramson's new blog.

Blog is short for the term "weblog" -- most often a personal journal or newsletter that's frequently updated and intended for general public consumption online.

Community members can read about the governor's proposal by clicking on links within the posts, or by obtaining hard copies of the information, available at the superintendent's office.
