The Red Barn held onto the title of “Best Chowder” for the fifth year in a row and the title for “Best Chili” went to Little Dan’s BBQ.
The “Hottest Chili” award went to Lisa’s Restaurant and Lounge. The award for “Most Original Chowder” went to Wing’s Hill Inn for their “Wing’s Hill Inn Surprise”: a delectable Indian-style fish stew.
Al’s Pizza pulled off a double header by winning both of the creativity awards: “Most Creative Display” and the also “Most Creative Name” – Al. E. Gatah Chowdah.
“Our Chili Chowder Committee is delighted that so many community members came out to support children with special needs. Our sponsors helped make the event a big success, ” said Children’s Center Acting Executive Director, Jonathan Leach in a press release.
