KINGFIELD — Tickets for the Annual Kingfield POPS concert are now on sale.
In its sixth year, the summer music will take place June 28 in Kingfield and will showcase musical talent from the past five concerts: The Western Mountain Steel Drum Band, the Kingfield Chorus, Nadia and Jocko, Jeff Beedy's band playing acoustical blues and original, the Edith Jones Project, an all-women's jazz band, will all return along with the Bangor Symphony Orchestra's Brass and Percussion Ensembles and the Kruger Brothers.
The event will also have an instrument petting zoo, clowns, family activities and food. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., artists and artisans display their creations and musicians perform outdoors at a Festival of the Arts in the village of Kingfield.
The concert gates open at 4 p.m. The evening closes with a fireworks finale. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate for adults and are free for children under 17 accompanied by an adult.
