AIRPORT WORK: Eric Moody trowels a spot for new tile to be installed at the U.S. Airways Express counter Monday at the Augusta State Airport. The terminal and restaurant at the airport are being renovated with a $200,000 grant from the Maine Department of Transportation, according to airport manager John Guimond. A new roof, floors and a work space for Transportation Safety Administration employees will be included, with the work expected to be complete by the end of December. Flyers are temporarily boarding commuter planes in a space recently expanded for city rescue workers, Guimond said.
