it's not a delusion to think gay rights will be a reality some day. the fight for equal rights is not a one-time event but a wave that gains momentum. civil rights movements in america take time and effort, but historically they've been achieved in the end. also, those who support gay rights are no longer a "small fringe" group - i would not call 47% of the population small by any means.report abuse

cinnamon90 of candyland, ME; Delusion is great isn't it?

None of what you just said is true and none of it will come to pass.

Just because you and other homosexuals don't understand defeat but want to continue in your fantasy world where the homosexuals get everthing they want go right ahead but it all delusional.

Which is why I truly believe that homosexuals do have a mental illness that was diagnosed by psychology organizations but errantly changed.

We simply cannot have a small fringe of society bent on sexual pervsions to mainstream these deviances upon the rest of society calling it good and normal.

It quite simply is not and the majority of the country has already spoken on this!

Homosexual people will be accepted as equal, full human beings, who have a legitimate claim on every right that both church and society have to offer any of us.
· Homosexual marriages will become legal, recognized by the state and pronounced holy by the church.
· "Don't ask, don't tell" will be dismantled as the policy of our armed forces.

We will and we must learn that equality of citizenship is not something that should ever be submitted to a referendum. Equality under and before the law is a solemn promise conveyed to all our citizens in the Constitution itself. Can any of us imagine having a public referendum on whether slavery should continue, whether segregation should be dismantled, whether voting privileges should be offered to women?report abuse
