hot-tamale of somewhere , ME this state has gotten absolutely bonkers in taxes and fees....how about the new marriage license request, that they sent out to all the town offices before the election that now say applicant one and applicant two instead of bride and groom? was the state expecting a different result? Bumfuzzle of Somewherein, ME Ellen, stop making excuses. This is obscene, and no notice was given to the public until a small news article ran the Thursday before Columbus Day. Friday was a State shut down and the fees went into effect on Tuesday. These people are shameless, devious crooks and criminals. They have run this state for 40 years with the mentality that any of us stupid enough to stay deserve to pay (and be abused), and that will never change.
