There is always something, the fire department is right up the road, see if you have a rope in the trunk, see if there is something, don't just stand there and watch taking pictures. He could have at least tried!! I know I would have even if I didnt have supermans powers....WAKE UPreport abuse

Native2Maine, what should he have done as the man was swept over the falls? Used his wings to swoop in like an eagle and fly him out of danger?

Molloy (according to the story, which nobody has disputed) warned the men about the dam, and then was integral to the rescue of the one who was swept over. The shot in question comes at a time when nobody outside of Superman could have lent the gentleman much assistance unless they happened to have been standing on the dam at the time.
