Notice the media, and no one at the G8 conference are mentioning the growing research that global warming is not occuring nor that CO2 is not a greenhouse gas?

The left refuses to look at research that provides evidence of this. The Obama EPA has been caught burying research that shows as much and NOAA has been found to have been placing climate measuring thermometers in unnaturally warm places.

The Global Warming movement is nothing but a liberal power grab. After the fall of the Iron Curtain all of the Western European Communist Parties re-branded themselves as "Green" parties knowing that where they failed controlling freedom loving peoples through socialism they might succeed by convincing us there is a global emergency that only they can save us from.report abuse

Cap and trade? what is with this!
This will drive up our energy costs. Just think, this winter we can all freeze because no one can afford the oil to heat their homes.
What are our reps thinking!

"Politicians love cap and trade because they can claim to be taxing "polluters," not workers. Hardly. Once the government creates a scarce new commodity -- in this case the right to emit carbon -- and then mandates that businesses buy it, the costs would inevitably be passed on to all consumers in the form of higher prices"

DTOM brings back memories of the arguments over regulating toxic waste sites, clean water, clean air, and every other environmental health initiative of the past forty years.report abuse
