ANTICON- When my ancestors came to America, the standard was not a green card. You went through other requirements. My post was meant about the ones that enter the US ILLEGALLY and still manage to milk our welfare system and our govt. gives it to them. Mexico's second most source of income has been recorded from American money sent back to Mexico from Mexican immigrants. I don't know about other countries but can only guess it is the same. If they are here legally, then welcome to the US. Sorry you got your panties in a knot about who was first. By the way, one side of my family was here before the other. My grandmother also traveled the "Trail of Tears" from NC to OK as a baby.report abuse
