That's why I see a national health system as the only viable option, and most of us would also want health insurance as well. However instead of debating the real issues, the Democrats are trying to ram their "public option" through the Congress to meet a deadline imposed by Obama. That's one reason the federal government is going into ever more debt, and it's unsustainable. The Democrats “public option” will probably make that problem even worse, which is why the only sustainable solution is a national health system, with health insurance companies selling supplemental coverage. Structured properly the health insurance companies would probably agree with the implementation of a national health system, because they understand that the rapid increase in prices of health care is unsustainable for their business.report abuse
