I grew up going to POPS in Dreseden, but the last time I was there (about 2 years ago) I was was disappointed. The quality of the berries left a lot to be desired. There were more weeds than berries! The attendant lady there was quite rude to me and the other pickers. (to the point where myself and the other pickers complained together!) I'm guessing that when the son of the of the former owner took over, the place had gone downhill. It's a shame to see such a once wonderful berry farm gone to well, you know...

Now my husband & I go to Seeman's in Litchfield and their berry fields are very well maintained, and the the staff that work there are very pleasent. We'll go where we'll be treated well and get our money's worth.report abuse

There's POPS in Dresden and I forget the one in Litchfield, but I don't believe there's one IN Augusta~~~ Our strawberries are doing wonderful, just gotta keep the birds away~~~report abuse
