A small glimmer of common sense in an otherwise dismal governing system.report abuse

Well I never knew Albion we Northern Maine or out of State "Casavant said many of his constituents wanted the preserves to be closed, and the only calls he got in favor of them were from northern Maine or out of state" As a "Deer Farmer" in favor of keeping these parks open, my husband called Mr. Casavant to explain the money we have invested in our farm and the money we contribute to the community because of our farm and he was arrogant and rude. I guess he feels he knows what is good for the sheepole though...hummmm ..lol...I was nice to hear someone actually took the time to go to a park and do some research. We have our life savings invested into our farm and also support the local community i.e. other local none cervid farms, trades i.e. mechanics, contruction, lumber yards etc... Though we are not a Hunt Park we do sell some of our excess stock to these parks for breeding stock and/or meat hunts...and yes people do come to these parks to hunt the animals specifically for the meat. Not all their hunts are for trophy animals. JMOreport abuse
