The only significant difference yet not reported in this story, is that these other districts had time to organize & prepare themselves, Augusta has only 2 1/2 months to do so.report abuse

Why not have the high schoolers start later in the morning? My middle schooler is wide awake at 6; my high schooler sleeps till noon if I let her. Why fight nature? And why dump high schoolers out the door early in the afternoon when they go home to no supervision? I'd suggest Middle school 8:30 to 3; High School 9 to 3:30report abuse
