Mr. Richard Behar this article is about Kobrock and should Mr. Kobrock be removed from office of city manager, isn't that correct? Then why exactly does your animosity against Mr. Wlodylo belong in public view. Mr. Wlodylo does not insult you and lie about you in public, does he? In case you diden't know it, personal attacks against individuals are not allowed in these columns. Mr. Behar if you have a personal problem with Mr. Wlodylo then I suggest you try to resolve it by letter or personal contact, lying in public about private individuals resolves nothing. The quality of Mr. Wlodylos work can be seen here http://www.gardinermaineproblems.com/PHOTO%20PAGE%201.html just in case you didn't see it. Giving Mr. Wlodylo the finger just proves you animosity towards Mr. Wlodylo and resolves nothing.report abuse

It's also interesting to note that Farris is the attorney for the fire chief who just resigned after a dispute with the city. He says he has no vendetta, but I don't think it's coincidental that he signed this petition while all of that was going on.report abuse

Ralph Clark's petition lost all credibility when he added Greg Farris to the fray.

Farris states, "This is not a vendetta," ... "I don't have any animosity towards Mr. Kobrock.

Why make a point to say that, unless the opposite is true?report abuse

Maclyra - you've lived in Gardiner for 5 years that's not long enough for you to know the history of the City. The people who want Kobrock gone are life long citizens who have finally become fed up with his leadership. The petition should have been circulated a few years ago when Kobrock was getting rid of long term employees and replacing them with inexperienced people of his choice just so he could run things in his own weasle like way. When he was hird two other city employees who applied were asked to assist him with running the show because he was not fully qualified. One can only hope that the council follows the wishes of the CITIZENS of Gardiner and finds another leader like Bruce Benway to clean up the messes created by Kobrock or for that matter bring Glenna Nowell out of retirement.

The Mayor/Manager system would most likely be set forth by the City Charter however the levels of management created by Kobrock are not. There are department heads, Chuck Applebee (who really knows what he does), the office manager for city hall, and then after exhausting all the levels there's Kobrock. If you really want to close the gap in the budget cut back to the number of employees that were on the payroll when Kobrock took over, if he's gone they won't be needed to do his job any how.

Hey Lee, to heck with the petition attend the meeting and speak loudly your honest opinion.

John Jones, every article written about the City of Gardiner does not invite your repeated comments we've all seen them at least a thousand times if not more.report abuse
