If one looks closely at the posting stimuluswatch.org list all these projects are States Rights issues that should have been discussed and voted on at Town Meetings and City Councels. All that has been done is local, county, and state control has been transfered to the Federal Level. Barrow our money at that level and everyone shares in the agony is all that has been accomplished.report abuse

"Sidd Finch, WHAT substantial cuts for the middle class?????"

What are the cuts for a family of four making $50,000? Ballpark figure would be fine.

Not an answer Sidd? It is amazing the denial of people who can't admit they actually got a substantial tax cut under Bush or have been brainwashed that they didn't get any tax cut. I noticed that even though you were civil and gave facts there was no response from WiseCrone or MikeH. They would rather not respond or if they do repond they respond to the knuckle draggers and project the knuckle dragger's responses to anyone who disagrees with them.report abuse

Sadistic, this is from a conservative and I would be called a right winger by most...do your knuckles drag on the ground? Or maybe a left wing plant? The only hint of truth I saw in there is the comment about the left wanting to take over our wells and septic systems. There is a movement that want to figure out how to extract revenue out of this. Don't think the "it's the people's water" is just a movement against Poland Springs..it's an effort to punish people thru taxes for not having public water. Same for those of us with a septic system..they will find a way to control you and punish you for not putting your waste water more under their control.report abuse
