I for one have done the pipe thing on the snowsleds and let me tell you fisrt hand radar guns dont lie... they work.. second if snowsleds have to go by a noise law so should the harley's they drive by you in the summer time and about blow your ears off.. or the high performance bikes that wake you up in the middle of the night... heck i even drive race cars and we have to abide by a noise law... the biggest issue is flantlanders moving in here and taking our fun away...report abuse

Maidnene62. Snowmobilers are vets and hard workers also. I think there is a law regarding the noise MC make. If I have a little car should I be allowed to take the muffler off? I didn't toss all into one pot. Loud Pipes..BS It's the boys with their toys.report abuse

As a biker's wife, I feel very offended by the generalization that all people who ride motorcycles are thugs. Don't lump all motorcycists into the same image potrayed by TV and the Movies. These stereotypes are far from the truth and very offensive to real bikers. I have been around these people for a long time and have met many people from hard-working backgrounds and many that have served this counrty in wartime. And the reason most wear leather is that when they have to lay their rides down in emergencies, they don't scrape off layers of skin. So don't always judge a book by it's cover. Loud pipes do save lives, as most people don't "see" motorcycles and the noise alerts them to the biker's presence.report abuse
