All well and good except for those students who are not college "material".

My youngest dropped out of Cony in 04 and thanks to an alternative learning opportunity JobCorps,
has received his GED plus has Cisco Systems training.
He is now in the workforce continuing his education and is loving every minute of it.

Traditional schooling did not challenge him enough to keep him in school.
So for those who want college, go for it.
For those who are not college bound, give them a chance too.report abuse
