personal rights, you win the ignorant award today. you didnt read the report, you read the kj's "fit for the fishmarket" reporting on it. had you read the report, you would see that after addressing a problem, 'conclusions and recommendations' are given. oh, and while youre out there asking for the engineers to take a pay cut and forward their own money to fix the states 'lack of priorities' problem, theresa few dozen other occupations that you should look at as well...

personal rights is eager to discuss a problem but offers no real solutions. like a politician, just says we need 'solutions' and other vaugeries. the word irony must not be in his dictionary...report abuse

This society of engineers, like so many groups, is eager to discuss a problem but offers no real solutions. Was there an attachment to the report offering the services of the society at a deep discount when new projects need engineers? Or perhaps, was there a petition signed by all members offering to send extra tax monies to the state for road and bridge repair? The days of offering reports of problems have been here for a while, how about a report or two with solutions attached?? As we seek "growth" and "progress" we must begin to look at solutions addressing funding, personnel, and necessary changes that will make things better.report abuse
