My property also is adjacent to the power lines, and I have lived next to the existing sub station for almost 20 years with no health problems.
The proposed project will put a lot of people to work and help with tax revenue for the state and local communities.
I have not been to any of the meetings but strongly believe that it will be good for Maine,
have any of the people in the general public taken the opportunity to walk the power lines and see the beauty a long the streams and the fauna or vegatation that the power company has planted and will plant. It does have an abundance of wild life as well.
The next time fuel prices spike take the time to thank a company like this, reducing our dependence on foreign oil.( Yes they want to make a profit but so does every other company.
Thank you CMPreport abuse
