I have several, but I will just say one. James Cameron-nuff said about that. Every politician is honest. You are naive if you think that anyone would come forward against a sitting AG. They surround themselves with allies within that office. You are also naive to think that someone has not already come forward. Do you think for a minute the press will hold a Democrat accountable. Why do you think John B wasn't elected as AG? He is a former AAG, he is a nice guy and honest. You would think he would have been elected. Maybe Janet was elected to clean the place up. Your perception of honesty is skewed. Are you saying all lawyers are honest, because we can list several that have been disbarred and or convicted of crimes (nationally as well as in Maine).report abuse
The truth might be hard for some of the kool-aid drinking Baldaccittes to swallow, but the truth is the truth. If Mainers are sick and tired of the status quo happening in Augusta, it will only change if more people get up and demand change.report abuse
1) During the recent campaign season, state employees were actively campaigning for the democrats on the taxpayers dime. Why should a republican's tax dollars be used to campaign for a party s/he does not support or believe in? If you want proof, just look at this pro-union website, http://www.mseaseiu.org, and read the photo caption and article titled "MSEA-SEIU Members Made the Difference!" While the union has supposedly paid their salary time for these campaign efforts, it was reported tax dollars were still used for their benefits while "on leave" from the state. This alone reeks of crookedness and deserves a detailed investigation.
2) State resources like long distance telephone calls and the email system have been used excessively on-work-time, and at the taxpayers expense. If a detailed audit was done on the telephone and email logs for the above-named state employees, this fact will be proven. However, since liberal newspapers like this one won't even consider a task like that, investigative reporting has gone the way of the 8 track tape - went down in history.
3) The use of intimidation and scare tactics are still alive and flourishing within our own state government. For example, just look at how the pro-democrat union will push the democrats agenda in a hard and sometimes vicious manner. From their anti-tabor push to their aggressive pro-Obama push, their past communications (print, verbal and electronic) will all illustrate this fact.report abuse
