Why is the article called “Unhelmeted biker recovering slowly” It’s not against the law to drive without a helmet. Is it? Why not call the article un too too-d biker rcovering slowly. One might say your just reporting the facts, but in the title? Sounds like a personal agenda of getting rid of more of our personal rights. Again. One could also argue if he was wearing a too too other factors would have prevented the accident also. What happened to stating the facts without bias. You can’t blame people for a corporation’s bottom line. High insurance rates are due to greed.

Hope Andrew is doing wellreport abuse

Every time an accident happens in Maine and personal injury results our insurance rates go up. Every event contributes to statistics and so we as premium payers continue to pay higher rates.

Yes of course I know it was actually the tree's fault for reaching out and clipping the helmetless motorcyclist but if he was wearing a helmet he would have been protected against the malicious tree and no one's rates would have been "factored" up.

I am sick and tired of paying for stupidity which in this case is someone's right to ride a motor cycle without a helmet.

I wonder if the Farmingdale man's long term memory will convince him to wear a helmet "next time".report abuse

Of all the crashes involving motorcycles this rag picked the one where the rider was not wearing a helmet.

Can you say NANNY STATE AGENDA!
