It is painfully obvious that many who use the rotary every day have know idea what the rules of the road are.

Painting lines and putting up signs might change a few habits but nothing short of writing a few tickets will change how people in Augusta use the two rotaries.report abuse

After the first couple of weeks, I've decided it's not that bad. ...and I'm one of the biggest whiners and complainers on here. The problem is is with people who never learned to navigate a rotary properly to begin with. (I know, don't end a sentence with a proposition.)report abuse

12th paragraph “Once in the rotary, motorists should yield to other drivers on their” left.

Should means expressing desirability but not absolute.

This is a funny driving rule. How about I should do the speed limit or I should stop for pedestrians but I really don’t have to. This way I can drive or speed through the rotaries as fast as I want. 100 MPH perhaps

Q: If your driving through the rotary clockwise (the wrong way). Do you still have to yield to the cars on your left?

Q: If you’re driving a unicycle through the rotary and the wheel falls off, how many pancakes can you fit in the CVS parking lot?

No matter what we do, there will always be #1 and #2 most accident-prone locations somewhere in the state.

Sorry..........Tiredreport abuse

all these compainers sound an awful lot like the 295 project. WERE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!! when it went quick, underbudget and finished early. the new design is better, and there will be fewer accidents. you people are crazy if you think NOTHING should be done about the #1 and #2 most accident prone locations in the state...report abuse
