Secondly, I find the person who wrote the poem about John's mother to be absolutely sick and cruel hearted. If you knew this family first hand you would regret your comments completely.
The events that happened and are still greatly effecting the lives of many today will not be helped by hateful words and threats and hypothesis. They will only be helped my healing, loving words of condolence and affection. Understanding may be something hard to do for anyone, whether connected to this or having just read about it in the newspaper, but fillng yourself with hate and scorn will not help you.
These times are so uncertain
There's a yearning undefined
And people filled with rage
We all need a little tenderness
How can love survive in such a graceless age?

It may not be about forgiveness and it may not be about forgetting, because it will obviously be imossible to do either for some or all, but it is certainly not about spreading hate or consuming yourself and others with hate, whether it be through thoughts or spoken/written words.report abuse
Who are YOU and what motivated you to post such a hateful "poem"?
Anyone who knows the whole story knows that the Okie family are the kindest and most decent people a person could ever know and, from what I have heard, the same can be said of the Mills family. These murders were and are a tragedy. Two good, loving, people are dead. And two good, loving families are left shattered and grieving. The only appropriate response, the only human response, is to show those two families love and compassion.report abuse
