Hey, I might be on to something, this would be another way for government to raise revenue, outlaw the possession of diseases like cancer, boils, shingles, etc., unless you have paid a tax and have a State issued license to have said diseases. Convince the people that it's their own fault that they have diseases through some government indoctrination course like the public school system and that they are not responsible people if they suffer from diseases.

Then go about arresting and prosecuting those who haven't paid their disease taxes or who have contracted or developed diseases without a license and impose heavy sentences and fines, just enough so as to be able to squeeze and milk the last nickel out of these contractors of said diseases before they kick the bucket.report abuse

Well, if the governor or the legislature could find a way to impose an extra tax on people who have cancer, they would have been there with one hand patting everyone on the back while using their other hand to pick their pockets.

So maybe it was just as well that the pick-pockets didn't show up after all.report abuse
