It's hilarious that Zachary espouses the virtues of the ACLU when it's founder was a communist. The ACLU was founded not as a defender of the Constitution but as a means to challenge it's principles and foundations and to pervert the liberties given by our Constitution to be used against it. Free speech should be celebrated in this country but the frivolous and insidious lawsuits litigated by the ACLU should be outlawed.report abuse

Do the financially poor have less rights then the KKK and Nazi's? In Maine the answer is YES. The Me Civil Rights Union has not taken one case strictly of the poor.

Student's right to select the manner of their dress has been addressed. But the MCLU has notfiled complaint one on the person or families in need right to be told the truth in public benefits.

The article said black repersentive figures & black nooses were hanging from the trees. Ropes do not usually come in Black. Nazi's and KKK's do not usually attacks white's. So the article implied the black card is in play.

So when is the MCLU going to take a case of the poor-no matter what skin tone? Nazi's should not more rights thebn the underpaid.report abuse

From reading all that I have, the assassination pool had nothing to do with race...just the presidental-elect. Even tho it was done in poor taste, I don't believe it had anything to do with race. Stop making it a racial issue. But then again, the ACLU is good for doing things like that.report abuse
