A new school now?! The state and Chelsea residents cannot afford this. If the state agrees to cover it and then can't continue with the funding Chelsea Tax payers are stuck with the bill. Also a larger gym and seperate cafeteria? What's wrong with eating lunch in the gym like usual? Sports functions are not held during lunch time.report abuse

taxes in chelsea are at an all time high, my taxes have increased 400 bucks in just the past two years to allmost 2.000 a year on a house i can,t sell in this market unless i take a 40 thousand dollar loss, if the town is looking for the state to pay for a new school i would,nt bet on it if you have not heard the state is bankrupt, yes we need a better school but we need to be very wise on how tax money is spent as we will most likely be on our own, i can,t afford a 500 dollar a year tax increase or even a 300 dollar tax increase next year or i will be forced to sell at a huge loss and so will many other people in town.report abuse
